Service Terms

These terms apply to Fresh Pirate Laundry Co. wash, dry, fold, pickup, and delivery services. By requesting or using service, you agree to them.

Pricing and weighing

The introductory price is $2.49 per pound with a $40 minimum. The final charge is based on actual processed weight, not a website estimate. Specialty, oversized, delicate, heavily soiled, pet, or unusual items may require separate pricing and approval.

Fresh Start Offer

AHOY10 provides an eligible new customer with $10 off the first order of $50 or more before discount. It is limited to one use per household, cannot be combined, has no cash value, and is subject to verification. Entering the code on a form does not automatically apply it.

Requests and scheduling

A submitted form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Service begins only after Fresh Pirate confirms the pickup window and address. Customers must provide accurate information and safe, lawful access. Repeated missed appointments may be refused or charged a fee disclosed before a future booking.

Customer responsibilities

Empty all pockets and identify valuable, delicate, dry-clean-only, air-dry-only, color-sensitive, or special-care items before pickup. Remove money, jewelry, electronics, sharp objects, hazardous materials, and items that cannot safely be laundered. We may refuse wet, pest-infested, biohazardous, contaminated, unlawful, or unsafe loads.

Care limitations

We use reasonable care and follow disclosed preferences and readable care labels when practicable. Stain removal is not guaranteed. Ordinary laundering can involve shrinkage, fading, pilling, bleeding, color transfer, missing embellishments, zipper or button damage, and wear.

Allergies and sensitivities

Customers must disclose relevant preferences or sensitivities. Although we offer fragrance-free and free-and-clear options, we operate in shared laundry environments and cannot guarantee an allergen-free or residue-free result.

Invoices and payment

After weighing and approved additions, Fresh Pirate sends a secure electronic invoice. Payment is due before delivery unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing. We may retain an order until payment is completed.

Delivery and claims

Inspect the order promptly and report a missing, damaged, or incorrectly processed item within 48 hours after delivery, with reasonable supporting information. Any remedy will consider age, condition, depreciation, proof of value, and circumstances. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.
